This online tea course will provide an introduction to the history of the origin of tea; you will learn how to differentiate the types of tea as well as the tea grading standards used in the industry. You will also be initiated to the basics of tea terminology and proper cupping techniques.

Length: Tea 101 is a four week course, with the suggestion that you designate approximately 3 hours each week to read, watch the video, complete the cupping and participate in online discussions. There will be a live tutorial held twice for you to participate in and ask questions.
Students’ marks will be based on completing the lessons in ‘Schoology’, presentation, multiple choice examination, and blind cupping.
