Tea 102 – Regions of the World
This online tea course will examine in detail the principal tea-growing regions of the world. Develop a fundamental understanding of tea–its evolution and its influence on culture and world events.
Prerequisite: TEA 101
Note: Students are only permitted to enrol in 2 courses at the same time.

Length:
Tea 102 is a six week course, with the suggestion that you designate approximately 3 hours each week to read, watch the video, complete the cupping and participate in online discussions. There will be a live tutorial held twice for you to participate in and ask questions. One will be a compulsory live tutorial, the second will be live open office hours. Students’ marks will be based on completing the lessons in ‘Schoology’, attending the tutorial, presentation, multiple choice examination, and blind cupping. [/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

Dates: January 13 – February 18, 2020
Live Tutorial: January 27, 2020 (11am – 11:30am EST & 6pm – 6:30pm EST)
Open Office: February 10, 2020 (11:30am – 12:30pm & 6pm – 7pm EST)
Exam: Blind Cupping, Written exam (online), Live oral presentation (Skype) – February 18, 2020
