Tea 106 – Preparation, Consumption & Health
This online course will also cover the health of tea: what are the health benefits, myths and facts. Taste and evaluate teas that are representative of each region.
Prerequisite: TEA 101
Note: Students are only permitted to enroll in 2 courses at the same time.

Length: Tea 106 is a six week course, with the suggestion that you designate approximately 3 hours each week to read, watch the video, complete the cupping and participate in online discussions. There will be a live tutorial held twice for you to participate in and ask questions. One will be a compulsory live tutorial, the second will be live open office hours. Students’ marks will be based on completing the lessons in ‘Schoology’, attending the tutorial, presentation, multiple choice examination, and blind cupping[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

Dates: May 6 – June 10, 2019
Live Tutorial: May 21 2019 (12pm – 12:30pm EST & 7pm – 7:30pm EST)
Open Office: June 3, 2019 (11:30am – 12:30pm & 6pm – 7pm EST)
Exam: Blind Cupping, Written exam (online), Live oral presentation (Skype) – June 10, 2019
