Tea sommelier students have requested additional workshops and presentations to continue their lifelong learning of tea, and foster community and connection with other students.

I’m excited to announce the launch of a new monthly guest speaker series, featuring a variety of workshops and presentations from fellow Tea Sommeliers (and others!) within the tea industry.

You will have access to the live monthly workshops (via Zoom), which will also be recorded if you aren’t able to attend. The growing library of recorded workshops will continue to be available to you within the Student Learning Hub, as long as you’re a member in good standing.

Here’s the line-up of the first 4 workshops:

FEB | Tea & Chocolate Tasting: A Guided Pairing Experience – Katie Cyr, Monarch Tea Co.

MAR | Tasseomancy: The Art of Telling Futures Using Tea Leaves – Amy Lou Taylor, TAOTAT

APR | Understanding Matcha: Grades, Production, Preparation & Shortages – Momo from Momo Tea

MAY | Bucket List Teas: The Top Teas You Can’t Live Without – Shabnam Weber, President of Tea & Herbal Association of Canada (THAC) and Tea Association USA

Workshops will be approx. 60 minutes, followed by 30 minutes of Q&A and community building.
