Tea 101 – Introduction to Tea


This course is 100% online and completed in 4 weeks. Spots are limited for each session date listed below.

Tea 101 provides an introduction to the history and origin of tea. You’ll learn how to differentiate the various tea types, and tea grading standards used within the industry. You’ll also be introduced to basic tea terminology and proper cupping techniques.

Origin of tea
Basic tea types
Tea grading standards
Proper cupping techniques

Tea 101 includes three lessons. You should plan to spend approximately 3 hours per lesson to read through course materials, watch lesson videos, and complete required tastings.
